The thinking is changing, and RT London is helping to make it happen. Instead of viewing residence halls as a necessary evil, some schools are now viewing these facilities as significant assets that can offer plenty of leverage to land prospective students.

RT London offers solutions beyond the typical that can help schools maximize their investment in residence halls. In one particular instance, the customer was interested in our Solo room solution line, and was enamored with our Gibraltar Bed. When they understood that the headboard of the bed could be customized, they immediately saw the opportunity to provide a unique solution that would set them apart in the minds of prospective students. Why use the same 3-rail, headboard/footboard solution that has been repeated on almost every campus in the US? Here’s a chance to do something different with a traditionally generic product solution, and they did.

They created a design for their Gibraltar bed solution that we in turn programmed into our production, and today there are over 400 beds on that campus.
